the purpose of generation explanation
by poopie inok here is my 2 cents they are getting complaints concerning the drum beat that goes we are in the last hour of last min bla bla bla and people are tired and want system to end so if the system is ended sooon then why are there new partakers assuming that most have the actually calling.
so now we have a problem how do we fix it?
simple just say those new annointed are not part of this generation so now if we appoint younger guys to gb not to worry there not a part of this generation.

Its' the people who are born after the 1984-1995 period who have no recollection of this generation change, just as the ones' who were born after the 1975-1979 era fiasco, they have no memory of it. Just the shock of that post November 1995 was so hard to grasp. 80 years after 1914 was just too long of time for a generation, they had to do something. -

yeah, I can't remember anything about the 1975 fiasco. But I do remember quite vividly what some previous poster said about that May 1984 Awake. Yeah, I remember spring/summer that year quite well with all that hype about all those people from that time never passing away. I remember that May 1984 Awake sitting on coffee tables and kitchen tables and you would catch people looking down at the table with awe!! Here we are, decades on, all those people are gone, they have to come up with new explanation. Like I said before, time is the BORG's worst enemy. -

obviously this new ''generation'' theology has opened a whole can of words. Should this be published through further Watchtower studies or talked about at assemblies, the whole Borg community will have shock waves reverberating through it and not just on here. -

steve, so true. Since when does a generation overlap 2 or 3 times, this will I'm sure be a tough one for the rank and file to get there heads around. Many, many of them will just lap up and swallow whatever the GB tells them. -

yeah, I agree that time is now the BORG's worst enemy. 1994 when after 80 years passed since 1914,they had to come up with something, fast. well, they did in the 1995 Awake when they changed that statement about the generation. They are doing it again with multiple generation(s), buying time.
